The environment as a priority

Our engineering and consulting was born from mining and for mining.

This mining activity was a pioneer in the regulation of the protection of the environment, which is already included, albeit briefly, in the current Mining Law of 1973.

But it was from 1981 that the normative regulation on the obligation of restoration of mining spaces, began to have a great impulse. The  The first Law of 1981 was of the Generalitat de Catalunya, for the activities that were within the protected areas. It was not until 1983, that this obligation was transferred to all activities, also imposing the obligation to deposit a guarantee that would guarantee the future restoration foreseen in the mandatory Restoration Plan.

Since then, environmental protection has become widespread in all economic and social activities and we are prepared.

Projects and

management

  • Projects and direction of restoration of degraded spaces.

  • Environmental Impact Studies produced by the activities that require the DIA.

  • Projects and directions for environmental authorizations and licenses.

  • Projects and management of the soil contamination evaluation reports.

  • Projects and management of water purification facilities from a production process.

  • Projects and addresses of waste deposits, recovery plants and transfer plants.

  • Advice on the Annual Declaration of Industrial Waste, DARI.

  • Advice on the Declaration of Use and Pollution of Water, DUCA.

  • Etc...

When the end is the beginning

The end of all projected activity is the condition 0 to the environment where it is located.  For them, a Study and Assessment of Environmental Impacts must be carried out and the necessary measures to minimize, reduce and eliminate harmful impacts, and promote beneficial impacts, must be foreseen.

Our professional experience throughout the more than 30 years of our engineering, allows us to carry out these evaluations, not only from the environmental impact theory, but also by having lived them directly, knowing what measures are really effective for their elimination. , and which ones are not.

The final restoration of the spaces degraded by the anthropological intervention is part of both the corrective measures of any EIA, as well as the recovery of previous spaces, which, for various reasons, their condition was not repaired.

Studies of impacts and landscape integration.

EIP

he Landscape Impact and Integration Study (EIIP) is a technical document that includes the analysis and assessment of the possible impacts of your project on the landscape and the integration measures to avoid them, in the best possible way.

These impacts can be caused by works, actions or activities in a specific geographical area. The objective is to establish good strategies and measures to integrate the landscape to preserve it while we develop the project.

Also known as Landscape Integration Studies (EIP) in different regions, they are a fundamental management tool if the project requires a territorial transformation.

A good structure for the content and quality analysis, together with an experienced team, will help your project pass the approval procedures favorably in the shortest possible time.

ESTUDIOS DE IMPACTOS E INTEGRACIÓN PAISAGÍSTICA

What projects need a Landscape Impact and Integration Study?

There is no state regulation that regulates this type of project-focused landscape studies, so depending on the autonomies, they will be mandatory or they may be requested to complete the assessment of the project. Virtually any type of project is susceptible to carrying out an EIIP, such as:

  • Specific actions on undeveloped or developable land: campsites, horse riding centers, waste treatment plants, wind farms, photovoltaic solar parks, etc.

  • Obtaining licenses for new works or rehabilitation of rural houses.

  • Reforms or expansion for exploitation activities: agricultural, poultry, livestock, rustic, wineries, etc.

  • Other activities included in the law regarding urban or territorial planning (for Special Plans, Partial Plans, Specific Action Plans, etc.)

DESCONTAMINACION DE SUELOS

Decontamination:

Soil and Water

Every industrial process must guarantee that its effluents are of sufficient quality to be incorporated into the natural cycle.

We have the technical capacity to advise and design the best treatment solution for the waters used in the process, so that upon leaving the activity, they comply with all environmental parameters, which allow their incorporation into the river and / or maritime network. , in conditions of full environmental safety.

We design the necessary facilities to prevent soil contamination, and we are capable of determining the degree of alteration or contamination of a soil, as well as the treatment that must be carried out for its decontamination.

We accompany companies throughout the process, advising on the processing and treatment to be carried out in each part of the process.

DARI

The declarations:

Waste and Water

All waste-producing companies have the annual obligation to present the declaration of the waste generated and the management made on it. Our consultancy advises our clients to comply in a simple and reliable way with this obligation.

Likewise, companies in which water is part of their process must guarantee that the water returns to the system, in environmentally safe conditions. Annually, they must prepare and present a declaration of the use of the water that has been made and the conditions in which it is returned to the system, specifying the environmental parameters of the same. As we have said before, we can offer our clients the best purification alternatives and also from consulting, we advise them to comply with the DUCA.
