What is TPC?

The Professional Construction Card, although it is not mandatory, if it is a good tool available to all construction workers, who  allows you to demonstrate your:

  • Experience in the sector.

  • Professional qualification.

  • Training received.

 

The card is not mandatory, but training is, for all workers who provide services to companies. Always within the scope of the General Agreement of the Construction Sector.

To obtain the TPC you must have completed one of the following training actions:

GENERAL TRAINING:

  • Initial training: eight hours.

  • Basic level training (carried out before September 6, 2007): 50 hours.

  • Basic level training in construction prevention: 60 hours.

  • Intermediate level training: 300 hours.

  • Higher Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention: 2,000 hours.

  • Superior Technician in PRL: Occupational Safety Specialty: 600 hours.

  • Superior Technician in PRL: Industrial Hygiene Specialty: 600 hours.

  • Superior Technician in PRL: Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology Specialty: 600 hours.

  • Health and safety coordinator at construction sites: 200 hours.

 

TRAINING BY JOB:

  • Business managers: ten hours.

  • Project managers and execution technicians: 20 hours.

  • Middle managers: 20 hours.

  • Prevention delegates: 70 hours.

  • Administrative: 20 hours.

 

TRAINING FOR TRADES:

  • Insulation and waterproofing work: 20 hours.

  • Worker and auxiliary temporary installations: 20 hours.

  • Placement of covering materials: 20 hours.

  • Maintenance and operation of roads: 20 hours.

  • Execution of tunnels and support of underground excavations and slopes: 20 hours.

  • Railway track construction and maintenance work: 20 hours.

  • Maritime work: 20 hours.

  • Stabilization of esplanades and pavement extension: 20 hours.

  • Assembly work for tubular structures: 20 hours.

  • Special foundations, drilling and drilling: 20 hours.

  • Works of supply and sanitation networks and wells: 20 hours.

  • Precast concrete assembly work on site: 20 hours.

  • Materials workshop operator: 20 hours.

  • Work: 20 hours.

  • Demolition and rehabilitation: 20 hours.

  • Formwork: 20 hours.

  • Ferrallado: 20 hours.

  • Plaster coatings: 20 hours.

  • Electricity: 20 hours.

  • Plumbing: 20 hours.

  • Stonework: 20 hours.

  • Painting: 20 hours.

  • Flooring and tiling: 20 hours.

  • Lifting device operators: 20 hours.

  • Vehicle and machinery operators for earthmoving: 20 hours.

  • Manual equipment operators: 20 hours.

 

SIX SPECIFIC HOURS:

  • Insulation and waterproofing work.

  • Works of supply and sanitation networks and wells.

  • Execution of tunnels and support of underground excavations and slopes.

  • Stabilization work on esplanades and pavement spread.

  • Placement of covering materials.

  • Precast concrete assembly work on site.

  • Materials workshop operator.

  • Maritime works.

  • Railway track construction and maintenance work.

  • Special foundation work, drilling and drilling.

  • Assembly work for tubular structures.

  • Road maintenance and operation works.

  • Operator of temporary construction and auxiliary facilities.

TPC

What is the TPM?

The Professional Card of the metal sector, also without being mandatory, allows the worker to demonstrate their:

  • Work experience.

  • Professional qualification.

  • Training received.

 

Training is mandatory for all workers as long as they are within the scope of the State Metal Sector Agreement.

To obtain the TPM you must have completed at least one of the following training actions:

GENERAL TRAINING:

  • Initial training: eight hours.

  • Basic level training (carried out before September 6, 2007): 50 hours.

  • Basic level prevention training in Construction: 60 hours.

  • Intermediate level training: 300 hours.

  • Higher Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention: 2,000 hours.

  • Superior Technician in PRL: Occupational Safety specialty: 600 hours.

  • Superior Technician in PRL: Industrial Hygiene specialty: 600 hours.

  • Superior Technician in PRL: Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology specialty: 600 hours.

  • Health and safety coordinator at construction sites: 200 hours.

  • Electricity: assembly and maintenance of high voltage and low voltage installations: 20 hours.

  • Plumbing and air conditioning installations: 20 hours.

  • Elevator installations: 20 hours.

  • Lifting device operators: 20 hours.

  • Manual equipment operators: 20 hours.

  • Installations, repairs, assemblies, metallic structures, locksmith and metallic carpentry: 20 hours.
